In addition, there was a door prize distribution for the most disciplined, most creative, most friendly, most outgoing, and best teaching lecturer categories.

One of the missions of PWK is to carry out the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi process (education - research - community service) based on sustainable development, which is part of a movement that is visualized with positive activities for the community. In essence, the vision and mission that will be visualized is a movement that must be accompanied by a sense of enthusiasm so that it can be carried out properly and can produce a positive impact.

“Today we will carry out an agenda with the theme of spirit of movement, the spirit of movement is the vision and mission of PWK itself to continue to carry out sustainable development and for its own mission to uphold the Tri Dharma of Education.” Explained Rizky Anggoro Putra as the Chairperson of the 9th PWK Anniversary Committee.

“The vision and mission must be visualized so that later it can lead all parties and can have a positive impact on all.” He added.

Here as a nostalgia arena too, and I as a representative of our alumni really appreciate this activity because it is a forum to bring together alumni and lecturers and students. Hopefully activities like this can continue and be routinely carried out, and the alumni who attend hopefully enliven this event because there are no negatives to this event.” Feby Safitri said.

Head of PWK UNTAN department, Mrs. Erni Yuniarti said that this is the first time the anniversary is commemorated as an event. She also added that lecturers, students and alumni also contributed to this event.

“This is the first anniversary of Urban and Regional Planning department that we celebrate. We hope that with today's activities, of course in the following years we will continue to hold it, especially next year we will be ten years old.” Dr. Erni Yuniarti explained.

“To achieve this number 9 is certainly not easy. The lecturers and students all contributed to this activity. To get the best results so that we can be famous also in West Kalimantan. We see alumni who have worked in several agencies in the district or province. It also shows that the PWK department has taken part in spatial planning in West Kalimantan.” He added.

He also hopes that PWK students will not only pursue the best grades, but also about how students will later socialize with the community and apply the knowledge they have learned.

“I also hope that Urban and Regional Planning students do not just want the best grades only GPA. Why do I say that? If you have finished, I will also see how you can socialize with the community. How will you apply what knowledge you have gained on this campus.” Mrs. Erni added.
