2022-08-11

Tanjungpura University (UNTAN) held Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) 2022 for 4 days starting on August 8 to 1, 2022. The PKKMB activity of Tanjungpura University was held directly in the yard of UNTAN Rectorate Building. The implementation of the activity was also carried out by live streaming which was broadcast through the Tanjungpura University youtube channel. With the theme “KAMPUS MERDEKA: Igniting the Growth-Mindset of the Next Generation of the Nation”, as many as 38 students of the Department of Urban and Regional Planning attended PKKMB organized by the Faculty of Engineering Untan offline in the Hall of the Faculty of Engineering Untan.

Ayu Riztika Putri, one of the participants of the PKKMB activities of the Faculty of Engineering Regional and City Planning Study Program 2022, conveyed her impressions and messages about this event.
“My impression during PKKMB was that it was not tiring and very useful because I got new material and knowledge from various speakers. The committee was also very attentive to me and my friends by providing cakes, food, and not forgetting drinking water. The venue was also air-conditioned so it wasn't hot and felt comfortable. The ishoma time was also long enough to make me feel calm and comfortable when doing ishoma. Day 4 was very exciting because there were questions and answers with prizes and also games from friendly HIMAP brothers. My message to the PKKMB committee is to add more exciting things to the next PKKMB to make it more memorable for the new students."

Arkan Maheswara, one of the participants of the PKKMB activities of the Faculty of Engineering Regional and City Planning Study Program 2022, also conveyed his impressions and messages about this event.
“My impression of this PKKMB Faculty of Engineering activity is very exciting, useful, and also fun for me. The presentation of material delivered by great speakers, made me able to get to know more about campus life before I entered the real campus life. The fourth day, in my opinion, was the most memorable because the fourth day was filled with material by the association of each study program that introduced more about the Regional and City Planning study program. This made me get to know more about the PWK study program, and there were also fun games with prizes from the association brothers. My message for PKKMB next year is to add more interesting and memorable activities for new students.”
